Atlanta Falcons will be this years featured team on HBO's Hard Knocks. Im a big fan of the Hard Knocks series, do you guys like the choice of team? I'm not crazy about the Falcons. They have a chance to bounce back this season, but they are in a very tough division. No individual personalities really come to mind when I think of Atlanta.

I agree not a lot of 'camera characters' to choose from. Guessing they'll spend time focusing on Rookie Jake Matthews, Julio's recovery at WR and Pro Bowl goals...and then the transition of Osi Umenyiora from the NY to Atl.
Probably going to be a boring overall venture but still means football is close so of course we'll all be glued to it.Comment -

Well, Thomas DeCoud is gone. He was usually good to be trucked by a 4th string running back at least once a practice. Weatherspoon is out for the year. Team is switching over to a lot of 3-4 stuff. Steven Jackson is 30 going on 50 at running back. Julio and Roddy White will be treated with kid gloves. My guess: not a lot of hard knocks.Comment -

I like it too, and will watch it on demand, but I used to love it and never miss it... watch it after your fantasy draft bc you will end up wasting a pick on some 3rd string RB/TE from Atlanta.Comment -
Same here, I love behind the scenes sports shows. Especially Hard Knocks, the way they produce and show it is excellent. Also like that the show is shot and showed on a week-to-week basis.
Falcons will be okay, better than the Dolphins last year. Other than Ochocinco, most of the Dolphins was a snoozefest. Plenty of stars on the Falcons to make it interesting.Comment
