So it's basically the same team except Deng instead of James? Yeah, that should work.

If they can figure out how to get Eric Bledsoe, that's a pretty good team playing in the East.

see this is why guys like Chalmers and N. Cole got to get their dollars. For the superstars, large contracts will always be there. Those two guys nothing is guaranteed, not even a spot in the nba. I don't know what their contract situations are, but any chance to go for the dollars, you gotta get it.

Ho hum. Napier is nothing. Shouldn't even have been a first rounder. McRoberts? lol. Granger is damaged good. Wade is broken. Heat will be a hot mess.

And the numbers say his scoring outpost has decreased each season of the last 5 and has missed 74 games the last 3 seasons, not from a specific injury but more from wear and tear to his knees. It's not going to get better at his age. Plus, he's benefited from playing with Lebron.

his FG% has increased 3 years in a row. efficiency matters not ballhogging and filling the stat sheet

how were his numbers in the finals?
wade was able to be efficient cuz he didnt have to do the heavy lifting
thats what usually happens when u become a ................. role player
lets see how his role changes and what numbers he puts up now that lebron is gone

No matter how optimistic you are, the glory days are over and done with. If you think Miami had problems filling the seats before that arena will be a ghost town on most nights now.

Miami will be fine....truth be told its not a rebuild in the true sense of the word...they have lost the dynasty...but they are not Cleveland circa 2011...they will not loose 60 games because James left....they won't win 54...but they won't loose 54 either...the bobcats, and the hawks are still no better than them...

I figure they finish anywhere from 4 to 6. I do think they could finish as high as 3rd though. They lost LeBron but added some solid pieces and who knows about the Pacers. They will regress but how far. Bulls or Cavs for the top spot then Pacers/Heat/Wiz/Raptors in some order. Knicks/Hawks/Brooklyn for the last two to round it out.

This team might be sneakily decent. Should be a playoff contender. Anywhere from an 8 seed to possibly into the ECF.
Hopefully overreaction of losing Bron creates some value aside from possible futures.

if you think kyrie irving isnt a top 50 player then you dont know basketball... hes one of the best ballhanders in the entire league, does hog the ball sometimes but who did he have around him to share the ball with?? I dont even like the Cavaliers but they will be a good team this year, Kyrie is only getting better, Waiters is a great shooter, Thompson, Bennett and Wiggins are all young but theyre hungry, and will be willing to sacrifice and learn from Lebron. Theyll probably get a couple veterans to bring in to show them the ropes as well, then Varajeo is injury prone but when playing hes a board machine. Lebron makes everybody 2x better thats around him, Miami nuthuggers will learn that this year when they lose first round of the playoffs. Not only does he bring double teams, give literally wide open 3s consistently, hes one of the best passers in the entire game... Bosh is a good player but carrying the whole team wont be good for him imo, Granger and Mcroberts are decent pickups but not elite players, Deng is good but he struggles on the offensive end some games, if Cavs face Heat in the playoffs expect a 4-2 Cavs series Win calling it now. Cavs would beat them, Bulls would beat them, Pacers will beat them, Wiz/Raps/Hornets all have a good chance of beating them, possibly even the Knicks if they bring another player in.

cavs are awful and that is reflected in their record
last season was their best since lebron left, and they were 16 games under .500
so yea, any1 that doubts their roster is entitled to it
the heat will make the playoffs this year
the cavs would be lottery hunting again, it if lebron didnt join them
its not a stretch to say the heat have a better roster

Bennett has been a beast in the summer league...look like he lost 50 pounds..i think he has an almost mirror opposite of a season this year..

deng is a very good player. i like miami heats roster. it might not get the better regular season record than the cavs, but it looks like they will go further in the playoffs than the cavs. inexperienced cavs team is done when they meet bulls/pacers maybe even wizards. lebron is a known loser who couldnt win ish without wade covering is whiny ass.
