Girardi, Robertson is a nice reliever and all, he ain't Dellin Beances.

Robertson gets the yips when he gets in trouble, Dellin's demeanor is 10x better.
I watch 110-125 Yankee games a year, no comparison between the two.

On pace for about 100 innings. They're going to over use him.

Yeah, he goes an inning plus when used as set up, but he's economical with the pitches.

I gotta a problem with innings count, it's stress on the arm first, then the number of pitches.

If I got a reliever than can three outs in 10 or 11 pitches, why not got 2 1/3 innings.?

Guys a special talent and could be a top closer but they need to back off of him. Unfortunately this situation reminds me of Johnny Venters. He was unhittable for 2 years and the Braves used him to death. Venters hasn't pitched in 2 years...

Betances is pitching out of his mind so far. How he can maintain it all season. He should definitely get a shot at being the closer if the Yanks start dropping in the standings. Robertson would understand and maybe they have the next big thing but who knows. At this point as a take fan I hope he can just stay healthy lol
