-Can you imagine the uproar, the embarrassment, the devastation if Brazil after today's 7-1 fiasco go on to play Argentina for 3rd place and lose? They may make beach volleyball their official sport if that happens!

-One really bad thing about the World Cup lasting a month is you see the same commercials all month. I try to ignore commercials anyway but there are 2 awful ones that are hard to ignore. The one with the woman singing "Put it together and what have you got? Bibbity boppity boo". Then there's the one where the guy sings "Go you chicken fat, go". I am not even aware what those commercials are selling but they're awful

I can't stand that Iphone chicken fat commercial just another company shoving weight loss down our throat. If I want to be inactive and gain weight and have health issues in the longterm let it be so

The "In my country" Hyundai girl commercials piss me off.

But the match today kind of lost half of it's epicness when Brazil scored that goal. 7-0 just seems so much more shocking

Let's meet in the middle... not a bad world cup, but the overall level of 2010's world cup was higher. More entertaining and more goals I believe. Just compare Germany vs. Argentina 4-0 from 2010 with this year's game. The final was Spain-Holland which was also a lot more entertaining.
