I do not understand it: SBR seems to have used a pretty professional setup to do the interview and yet the choice of the interviewee, the questions, and the answers were as unprofessional as possible. A dude with 143 posts and zero cred. Just wow. And he is not even a PRO.

By the way I think edberg has done more for Roger than Becker has done for Novak. Roger was a choke machine on break points these past two years and he is really improve that by being more aggressive.

I think the match is too hard to call. We know we will get steady play out of Feds. No idea which Joker will show up? Baby feds really could have won the match today. Joker has been pushing the ball all week just waiting for his opponent to lose patience and go for a shot they shouldn't. Fed will play that game with Joker and if Joker hits a short ball feds will punish him. If the Joker that shows up is the same one that has played all week here Feds takes him down. Or we could get the joker that looked pretty average in miami until the final where he gaped ass picker.
i still think the easy money is +3.5 sets. I have a qtr unit on a fed +550 future that I won't be hedging.Comment -

Ok so, yes, I do agree Jetsfan doesn't know tennis as well as some others on here. Like myself. Far from it in fact.
However I think it's pretty obvious this forum is full of "experts" ready to bash on just about anybody. He was always going to be overly criticised.
Anyway Natalie, you can do better. Why waste the time and resources if you're not going to do it right?
*Edit. Haha I will say that "mental midget" and "can't rely on him to stay composed in the pressure moments".. dude, Djokovic is THE BEST, and has been THE BEST at saving break points for a few years now. The guy is a huge pressure moment player. The best in fact.
He's had a few lapses in concentration in his Cilic and Dimitrov matches, however he's a supreme mental giant overall.Comment -

I'm not really familiar with this poster but I thought his analysis was pretty good. Djoko WAS a mental midget which is what Jetsfan said - hence the Chokavic nickname - and he thinks he might be again tomorrow. Do I agree with that? Who knows. I suspect not but this also isn't the same Djoko who had that massive run so it wouldn't be some shock. Just like what happens with every other great player after they hit that peak, people start to figure him out, they know what rattles his cage on court, he gets more outside pressures, injuries start to accumulate, more distractions, etc. No one is immune to it and we've seen it happen to them all. Only people who started to watch tennis within the past 2 years would forget how Djokovic was before that and there have been times those cracks have appeared again.
Either way when people make big proclamations about a tennis match, especially a Final, I tend to wish them luck and take it with a grain of salt. Like I said in another thread - there are some who are talking like Djoko is playing some scrub and that's definitely not the case. Fed may not be what he was at his peak but even as a Djoko fan I can admit neither is he right now either. This is the first time in I don't know how long that I didn't pick either Djoko or Nadal to win a Slam in my contest. Maybe two years or more?!
Regardless, good job Jetsfan and best of luck with your Fed bet.
