but if the team is being extra careful, like Texas is with Yu, they might not want him to start after he was thrown out of his original routine

or it could be like Ravensfan said, if they think there could be more delays

Not sure why you'd want that. You would've wound up with Baltimore -165 or -170.

Action is generally a terrible idea because you end up with a blind bet if the pitcher is scratched.

You don't get to keep your original odds.


Yeah, everyone would love Baltimore +120 if that's how it worked, but books don't give you the +120, they give you the new line.

Otherwise it'd be easy. You could bet action anytime the opposing pitcher might be scratched.
