I don't know if he ever touched 95, he's always topped out around 92, but either way the dude is off. He's been hurt some lately so that might be the reason too

Masterson's velocity is way down this year. He's lost 3 mph on his fastball since 2013. Averaging just over 90 mph this year on the fastball this year while opposing batters are spanking it at .362.

Masterson throws a sinker in more than half his pitches and that's down about 2.5 mph vs. 2013 and 3 mph vs. 2012. Getting raked at .307.
