***Argentina vs. Switzerland World Cup in game thread***
Two attacking teams with suspect defense
Seems like maybe a wide open fast paced game but who knows at this point

Why do you think the Swiss have a suspect D? Outside of the game against France (which I'll admit was bad) the Swiss D has been very good, both in World Cup games and especially in the qualifying round.

Yep. The Swiss gave up 6 goals in 10 qualifying matches. Solid D at worst.

Ok probably weighing the France game too heavily as far as Swiss defense
We will see

Swiss +1 for me. No fancy logic. Just think nobody is great and this is like baseball. All coin flips so might as well play dogs.

Argentina seems uninterested. The Swiss cannot shoot straight.

Nothing to be surprised at in this game so far. Some decent counters from the Swiss, they look comfortable defending and waiting for their chance.

almost unbearable to watch, every other second there is an offsides or someone diving to the pitch and rolling around for 45 seconds, or crosses that are no where near a teamate

Every time I do see Messi I respect him more and more. He doesn't flop, he doesn't whine to the referees, he doesn't cry....solid man and what a player.
Argentina seem to be getting a little more sustained pressure right now.....that is concerning for sure.

The Swiss have no offense at all. I guess they want this decided by PK's. They are playing like they are defending a lead. The Argentines look like they just do not have the talent on offense.

Are we watching the same game?? Counter attacks?? They had a cpl easy chances squandered away and since then they can't even posses the ball past mid field. As soon as they touch the ball they lose it. Not long until Argentina puts one in. This game is over

You do know that you can bet on what team advances as well? That takes all of your concerns away.....
There are so many options when it comes to soccer, I am not sure why so many people get confused......read the options and the rules....easy peasy.

Book another relatively easy win on the +1.
I doubt I will place another wager before extra time.

If in soccer, players could get fouled out after like 6 fouls(e.g), you would not see this happening. Players do it because they try draw opponents bookings(yellow/red cards).

Just hoping for a bunch of cards and then penalties at this point
Have a parlay open for Swiss/USA to advance as well
