D2D has the right idea. This metric will gain value once you've logged in thousands of plays. Then you can reevaluate whether sports gambling was a wise investment--so tough to put a value on the entertainment/ addiction factor though

You're looking at ROI all wrong; it has nothing to do with your betting action...rather, you have to count transfers to the sportsbook as an investment, and anything you get back as a return. Based on that, and deposits of 8517 and withdrawals of 3602, your ROI is -57.7%.

You can raise your ROI by spending an hour transferring points back and forth; assuming you can transfer 3000 points back and forth 6 times a minute for an hour, you'll be at 1,088,517 deposits and 1,083,602 withdrawals, for an ROI of only -0.45%, a significant improvement.

Edit: If you're not talking about betpoints book, it will be different, but the same technique can be used with your real money sportsbook account (send money from bank account and withdraw, repeat); although it will take longer, you'll be on your way to a better ROI in no time!
