    No-hitter alert at Fenway Park...
    Jake Arrieta.

Yes, I repeat, pitching sensation Jake Arrieta has pitched seven no-hit innings.

I can't imagine how bad the Cubs would be without the sudden resurrection of Hammel and Arrieta.

At the very least, Theo can now trade these guys for top prospects.

In his last outing he was perfect thru 6 against the Reds.

I don't know if that was sarcasm but Arrieta IS a pitching sensation.

In his last 5 starts, in 34 innings he's allowed 3 runs on 13 hits with 45 K's to 3 BB. Not too shabby. In his 20 starts as a Cub dating back to last season, his ERA is under 2.7, I believe. Arrieta has filthy stuff. No fluke.

        It actually was sarcasm.

I just looked up his numbers. I had no idea he was this good this season.

The orioles have gotta be kicking themselves after letting this guy go.

Finally seemed to have figured it out.

I'm watching the game. Sox offense looks anemic. Just pathetic tonight.

I'll bet the Cubs manager was a little happy they got a hit.

His pitch count was up to 120.

Pitching the ninth inning could have caused a Tommy John situation.

After 120 pitches his stuff looked like Little League speed...let's see if the Cubbies hold on for him

Arrieta won't be traded. Amazingly enough, even at 28 Cubs have 3 more season of control with arb. only. That means cheap and the Cubs love that. Hammel will traded as a rental for sure.
