Forgive me for I am adjusting to this new world and the Detroit Tigers ridiculous loss.

Over 2000 years ago I lived on the island of Salamis. When I tell people I am from a place called 'Salamis', they look at my attire, my extensive beard and imagine I am from San Francisco of the American continent.

They mock my name of Euripides and extend their buttockses and make gaseous air poofs towards the east or west. 'What is your name again?' they say. And then I hear the impressive acceleration of a motorcycle engine. New to this world, I foolishly look for a motorcycle in proximity. But alas, it is but a gaseous air poof they are mocking me with.

Well, enough for the introductions. My name is Euripides. I died many years ago, but I searched for eternal life through philosophy and metaphysics. I worked with the fathers of Euclid and many unknown physicists (unknown to your culture and era) to discover an atomic regeneration process to bring myself back to life. I did not believe that in the end it would prove successful, but here I am.

But first, many may be fascinated how Euripides successfully navigated the atomic regeneration process. I will not give the specifics, but thousands of years ago I worked with the physicists, chemists and mathematicians of my day and we created a stable chemical compound. This compound diminished and was not visible to the human eye. But it contained an activator, and, if incited by another chemical protagonist at any point in time in the future, it would propel my being into the future.

Well, this event happened just recently. A football player left his Playboy model wife recently. She spit on him. He went to a see transvestite and there was a chemical exchange, combined with the Playboy model spit. This combined with the stable chemical compound which had floated for thousands of years without activation. And now, thanks to a football player, a Playboy bunny and a tranny experience, I have been born again into this world.

But I must attain $6300. I will do this with the sports!

This finishes the day. Mexico only 1 goal in their first 225 minutes of play, and that one goal came off of a fortunate rebound against Cameroon. Cameroon and Croatia were really bad. Brazil has not impressed and the masterclass goalie performance saved Mexico from a sure 2-0 or 3-0 against Brazil. Mexico had been horrible coming into the Cup and, as is the nature of all things in this short-lived world, the now is focused upon and blown out of proportion. Now Mexico is seen as a solid team with chances, but this is not the realistic case.

Mexico will have very few options at goal in the first half. And their only hope in this game is a tight, hawkish, defensive effort so that they can remain with Holland. If they go down a goal, they are most likely done. Holland, on the contrary, is just the opposite. Really, Holland is one of the best teams remaining and had they drawn Brazil this round, it's more than likely that Brazil would've been sent packing. Van Helsing and Rubbing are too much for Mexico.

And if Herrera insists on sitting Hernandez in the first half, Mexico will be even more stagnant and have even less chances at goal. The probabilities of a donut for Mexico in the first half are excellent. This is the standard push-win scenario. It will draw or Holland will take the 1st half. And it comes in a situation where Holland is being undervalued and Mexico is being overvalued.

If Van Helsing or Rubbing don't put in a goal in the first half, look for Jack Sikma to nail a header into the back of the net off a set piece. Also, Bas Rutten is dangerous in the octa-box, so Mexico must be careful with him.

Anyways, solid bet here. I must say, however, that if Mexico somehow gets past Holland, they have an incredible opportunity to make it to the semis and to have a chance to play in the final.

One last for the day. Volleyball. France has been dominating. Only one loss until yesterday. Even then they had mounted a comeback and were set to win it in the 4th set, but they stumbled and gave the match away.

They are the superior team. The large decline in pricing makes this very attractive.
