Some analysis:
Italy looks wonderful in possession, they have the speed and technique that will give Uruguay's backs fits. Sergio looks in decent form so the Italians must contain him and if they do so I see a victory.

Ivory coast will look to open it up against greece. This can leave them open on the counter. Samaras may very well bury one early to put greece ahead, but I see drogba finding the net, gervinho continuing his fine tournament and the africans getting 3 pts in 3-1 victory.

Columbia look to be one of the strongest sides in the tournament. They have their group by the nuts, but they will want to leave no question as to who they are as a team.

The only thing that worries me about that over in the cotd'ivore is that greece have not looked impressive at all. They may not even score. Currently its only samaras thats looked like a threat and only on the counter attack. It will be very tough to do that against one of the better african sides. could very easily be 1-0, 2-0 for ivory coast but ivory coast will win (greeks can be defensive as well)

Don't sleep on Japan today. I think Columbia will walk into the game with a "we're the shit" type of attitude. The Japanese usually come through in situations where they're expected to get smacked. I think they're due for a breakout game and would not be shocked at all if they won straight up especially with Columbia sitting players. Japan should leave this cup on a good note. I can't really argue with you on any of the other bets. I have no clue who is gonna win the Uruguay game. I think Diego Forlan could have a big impact if he starts or comes on early in the 2nd. For Italy its really just about converting chances. They gotta be more efficient when they get their opportunities.
