Wide Open Net....MISS?!?!!?

Anyone else ever notice in soccer the player will be wide open with nobody but the grass in front of the net and he will somehow miss the goal?? either goes high or somehow stubs it off his foot and it goes wide then the immediate hands to the head after in shock just as much as we are! These players are supposed to be the best in the world, how do you miss?!?!?!?!?!?

Same way a professional baseball player misses a routine ground/fly ball....or a professional basketball player misses a fast break wide open dunk....it happens man

Looks easier than it really is. And what is a wide open net -- is there no goalie in the vicinity? If it truly is wide open with no one around then there's no good excuse.
