Two things for the Greeks....the ref won't throw a second red card unless it's really gross because no way he throws the game out of whack...and secondly the longer this game goes the closer the Greeks get to angling the ref to throw a red on the Japanese

Good understanding of the dynamics of a game. Can't believe how many fools thought it was an auto-win for japs when the red card came.
Not understanding it doesn't alter greeks strategy in slightest. And jap's lack of attacking options gives them only a slight edge with numerical advantage against a naturally cagey cautious taller/ bigger opponent.

The Japanese had a couple of very good chances...but the Greeks were packing the box with 9 every time down the pitch and there was no way there was going to be 3 goals in that game....when the Greeks lost their best striker to an injury they weren't scoring unless they got a set piece or penalty. When you gamble on games you wish they all went the way you explain them
