Close, I started watching basketball in 1998 but at 8 years old you can't expect much. I never got a chance to watch any of the players listed play. Of course I've heard of them but NBAtv doesn't plaster how many finals loses the greats have/had.

I know, my tone was sooooo condescending because not only did I mention that the question wasn't a dig but I even gave an example of someone who did lose 3 times in the finals. I had no clue how sarcastic my question was phrased even as I typed it.

I think he said that because 99% of the threads about Lebron are in fact hate threads. And considering that he said "I'm sure there's been a handful or more." is basically saying that he knows that Lebron wasn't alone.

Don't forget this is SBR; attack, attack, attack! Most people understood the premise of the thread, at least I think. For all the haters though there's a good list of great players whom he hasn't even matched yet. I'd like to see them start discussing how terrible and gutless Magic or Wilt was because they lost a finals.
