Hate to sound like a broken record here, but...........
If you ain't riding this KC streak, and 1/2 of them have been + odds, you just don't like money.

KC pitchers get in jams, they wiggle out of it.
Gordon flat outs strectches and grabs sinking liners on his belly.
They are getting homers from Moose.
They are hitting out of their shoes.

Streaks in baseball come around like this, 4, maybe 5 times all season.

    KC is in beast mode

The sad part is the fan base was running them out of town no more than 3 weeks ago because of the way they were playing. They were screaming for Moose to be sent down, which they finally did and Butler was flat on his ass, then the players were boycotting the local radio stations etc. I'm not sure how long this is going to last, but eventually this balloon is going to burst and they're going to revert back to what they were 6 weeks ago which was no power and a singles hitting offense

well at least detroit didn't sign scherzer to another ridiculous contract; although it was sherzers decision and detroit wanted to.

He should fire Boras because of that. It will cost him millions.

word no coin. but teams are in love with power pitchers. he will get paid regardless at least the same amount detroit offered. i'd rather sign that fat ass colon to a longer term deal. that fcker is getting better as the season progresses.

Yeah, all you need is one idiot owner/GM to pay the price. I'm sure they will, despite the fact that he's had one season in his career with an ERA under 3.5 and no 200+ inning seasons from what I can remember.

Of course the bubble is going to burst, all bubbles burst eventually even the infamous 1988 Oriole streak ended.
Then it's time to get off, but this streak, now at ten straight, five of them have been as dogs.
The last three against Detroit they were +130, +134, +114
They bitch slapped Quintana as a +118 dog.
They beat Kluber as a +101 dog.

One thing sticks out, they are jumping out to early inning leads the last two weeks, and holding it.

Regarding the lack of power, they have power, between 2012 and 2013, entering 2014, Butler, Hosmer, and Gordon, have combined for over 110 home runs in those two years. (44,35,32)
You would have to think the home run surge will come after the all star break.

One last point, I just looked it up, Royals on the run line this year are 41-30 in 71 games for a +1450 unit profit.

Today I don't think books giving free money. I'm thinking they are killing Tigers backers who are chasing Tigers. Tigers have the big names in their line up.

no one is stupid enough to bet against such a streak, Books hate it when teams go on such winning streaks.
