So apparently if you have zero coaching experience, you can become a headcoach. It helps if you are fresh off retirement or come from TV background.

It's crazy they can't find good basketball coaches in the top league in the world. I would rather take a chance on a successful HS coach who knows the X's and O's over a former player. The assistant coaches do most of the work these days in the NBA.

Pretty sure he'll be a puppet. Phil Jackson wanted to return to LAL but insisted he can't join the team's away games. Maybe he's wish will come true with the Knicks with the hiring of Fisher.
