I didn't bet CC but I was truly disappointed he didn't win. Yeah, he acted like a sore loser but honestly I probably would have too if my team and I came that close and lost it in the final stretch.

His argument sucked from the beginning. On top of just being a sore loser, CC also lost to Medal Count who did run the Derby, and tied Wicked Strong. On face value, that should have been enough for him.

              Total loser.

If he didnt continue his rant on Sunday I may have believed him. Odviously a forced apology. He just needs to go away forever.

Best believe if stupid joe bravo kept his horse straight out the gate instead of injuring chrome, chrome would have gone on to be our triple crown winner. Horse was up there the whole time while bleeding straight out the gate. Chrome is a triple crown winner in my heart. #GO CHROMEY! #Breederscupclassicwincoming!

You guys are naive. This was an orchestrated move to raise the stud fees for the horse. Now everyone will remember this rant and the horse which will increase his stud fees.

Chrome was never beating Tonalist. Tonalist traveled over 64 feet further than the 2nd and 3rd place finishers as he was wide and uncovered the whole way. Chrome ran a very good race but theres no way he would have ever passed Tonalist with his superior distance breeding.

Man can not be judged for 30 seconds of his life. He owned it, apologized for it, and IMO should be forgiven. We all have lost it one way or another ---> just without 30,000,000 people watching lol

                                  Just saw it.

                                  OK, let's let him up.

                                  Been pounded enough.

Keep in mind his colors have D A P on them and he said it stood for dumb ass partners a couple of weeks ago.

Mulligan time, albeit a day late.

Agree with most of what was said here (except for pavy, his personality has nothing to do with a horse's stud fees).

What was great was when ESPN showed that saving horses for the Belmont happens less and less every decade. It was super high back in the 70s when all those horses were winning TCs. At that point, he had to apologize because he was outed as a fool.

I can understand the heat of the moment and letting emotions get the best of you immediately after the race. If that was all, most people would have shrugged and been sympathetic and realized emotions ran hot and accepted an apology. The problem was that the crazy old coot went and double-downed on his rant even after a day to think and a night to sleep on it, he went back on national TV and continued his rant. He went so far as to give out his number willing to argue with all comers, at that point he owns it.

It's kinda like running over someone in your car, you might get off, saying it was an accident, but once you throw that sucker in reverse and run him over again, you lose all benefit of doubt.
