Been to both... Many times.. If from out of town, Greektown

easy in, easy out.. Park and stay.. Take people mover to game and area local events.. Drink and you do NOT have to drive... While here, visit Fishbones Resturant... Right across the street from casino... Great eats, a little pricey, bug hey, you're on vacation right? Best to stay for tourists...

MGM machines do seem to pay out a bit better...

Might have changed.. But had to convert USD to Canadian (6%) to play, I won a bit.. Then had to convert back to USD (8%).... Was pretty happy until I realized after winning a bit, and paying 14% just to convert $$$, I'll take my chances stateside...

The hotel at the MGM is sick. Stayed there several times. It makes the MGM in Vegas look like a joke as far as rooms go

MGM in Detroit I believe is much newer than MGM in Las Vegas

There's no comparison in the environment Detroit versus the Las Vegas
