#36Wrong. This is a total story to the common sense community. That's why he was banned from the NBA for life, fined $2.5 million, and is about to lose his team. Kind of a big deal, lol.Comment -

#38Then one could find any and everything to boot someone. Could say Cuban is damaging the brand and making owners look bad over the years by how he's carried himself at the games. Just seems like a clear agenda to me, he wasnt selling his team, someone wants his team, more than likely its Magic, so theyre scheming to get it.Originally posted by Darkside MagickJust like if you own a fast food franchise and then someone record you saying I would never that food it is garbage...corporate could take your franchise away because you are damaging the brandComment -

#44Thing is for over 20 years Sterling has shown far worse egregious racial behavior, this is a technicality compared to his past. #45I agree his past stuff is worse, but he settled and his actions had nothing to do with the NBA so it wasn't as big of a story. This audio with all the other evidence on him, plus his weird interview with Cooper is just too much. I don't think there is any conspiracy to it at all and Magic had nothing to do with it. Way too much risk to try something like that. He trusted the wrong hoochie and got caught. I seriously doubt Magic or his team will make any bid for the Clippers. But if he does, I still wouldn't think it was some conspiracy to get Sterling out. Sterling did this to himself, no one else to blame.Originally posted by jtolerThing is for over 20 years Sterling has shown far worse egregious racial behavior, this is a technicality compared to his past. #47Originally posted by akphideltI honestly don't get why any owner would even attempt to justify Donald Sterling's actions at this point. Just shut your mouth and you'll do fine. Now Mark Cuban says...
"I mean, we're all prejudiced in one way or another. If I see a black kid in a hoodie and it's late at night, I'm walking to the other side of the street."ow regardless of how truthful that statement is, because I'm pretty sure most of us would do the same... why in the world would he even mention that??
Hopefully the mainstream media doesn't pick it up. The Trayvon crowd will be out and about looking for blood!

#48This has nothing to do with Cuban being a racist. It has to do with the poor choice of words for a black kid in a hoodie after all the NBA players and a lot of the country supported Trayvon and his hoodie.Originally posted by kfranz31you forgot to mention ther white guy with the tattoo he must be prejudiced against everyone but himself..the white people should be outraged also dont you think

#49Being forced to sell, no matter how much he has gained monetarily as a result, is still a forced relinquishment of an economic interest. They are essentially taking away, by force, his interest in potential future gains that he has a right to.Originally posted by d2betsHis economic interest is not being taken away. He can still make a shit fortune by selling the team. It's not like he simply forfeits his interest. He's in a partnership. He signed a partnership agreement. If they follow the partnership rules in booting him then why should anyone including the govt thru the courts intrude on that. I see it just the opposite. He signed the damn contract. As an owner in the association he' gotta follow the rules or suffer the consequences.
Now, if he wants to sell, hell yes. Point is that he doesn't and is being forced to. That shit is a serious issue, and it scares me that so many people look at this whole situation and quickly side with Silver as the "right" thing to do. Maybe it's a fear of being lumped in with Sterling as a racist.
This whole racial thing is supposed to be a non-issue by now. It's 2014, and people are more afraid to even have an honest conversation about it now than before.Comment -

#53It's a business man. So if you were a part of a business with multiple partners, and one of those partners was caught making racist comments on Facebook or something and caused people to stop paying for your product you don't think you should be able to kick him out and protect the business?Originally posted by ChalkyDogBeing forced to sell, no matter how much he has gained monetarily as a result, is still a forced relinquishment of an economic interest. P/1: In hindsight I should have used different examples. I didn't consider the Trayvon Martin family, and I apologize to them for that.

#65Cuban is saying this stuff cause he knows this new Jew commisioner doesn't have a leg to stand on pertaining to firing Sterling. How the hell do u fire a guy for being racist? Of course Cuban wasn't talking about Trayvon Martin, but the reference to a black kid in a hoodie will bring a lot of peoples thoughts towards the Trayvon Martin case.
