Some will say Smarja has been the best pitcher in the NL this year. Hes gonna be an All Star even if he doesnt get another win until then. Its basically the worst streak of lack of run support in the history of baseball... something like that CANT last much longer. Im at the point right now where Id take Smarja +anything... I think the Cubs are a .500 team with Smarja pitching.Comment -

If Spurs lose game one, Ill be putting more on them... I almost hope they lose game 1. This team is good enough to win 1 or even 2 in Miami if need be... Miami is also good but I think Spurs are just better, and they are hungrier as a team... not saying Miami isnt hungry, I just think the Spurs are hungrier and have something to prove after giving it away last year. Basketball is more of a team game now than 10 -15 years ago... I think Spurs are far and away the better overall team.
I also think there wont be much value betting each game. Could easily be a 90-85 game one day and a 115-110 game the next, so predicting over/unders is a crap shoot. Maybe betting the home team every game (I think these two are a combined 17-1 or something at home in the playoffs this year). I think the Spurs are the better team, and they have home court advantage. Thats enough to get me thinking about taking a pickem shot at -110... the fact that Tim Duncan gtd a win... just tilted it over the edge. Also, if this goes 7 games, Ill be hedging somthing on Miami @ SA in game 7.

I kind of hope they lose game 1 as well, then I may toss a little on them for series. The spurs may have this as their last shot, but if they keep the same team together for next year, I don't see why they don't have a "shot" at getting back here. Then again, West is tough and other teams may be having something to say about that. So this could be their last run and they going to go after it hard, like you said especially after giving it away last year.
The heat are rested and Wade playing good and "healthy"
How is Parker? Been hobbled all post season it seems like. And as much as I think he's their best player, they need the other players more than him if they gonna beat the Heat.
If Lebron gets going, he can take apart a team by himself. I either want to see a grind em out series with Spurs winning or a Heat Sweep with Lebron averaging 35/8/8 and shooting 60% from field. I'll be satisfied with either or.Comment -
Spurs will not let LeBron beat them by himself, even LeBron knows this, hes a smart player. I think he is right there with Jordan as the best ever. He could lose this series and still surpass Jordan in titles. Basketball is as much a team game now as its ever been... and the Spurs are the best team. When the going has gotten tough, the Spurs have got going. They closed out this series on the road, the dominated the Blazers all series, and in game 7 against Dallas, the Spurs ended it before halftime. Hahaha, good luck. I got no dog in this fight. I hope for a heat sweep or a grind em out Spurs win at home in 7. Spurs win at home in 7 is MUCH more likely. Heat don't have the players off the bench to stack up against the Spurs players, at pretty much any position...But I can't jump out the gate and throw money against a team that has the best player we've seen in the last 10 years. But if Spurs do lose game 1, I will be taking them for series small change.
