[QUOTE=dante1;21851611]You know what I have discovered about many players, they bet more when losing and less when on a winning streak.QUOTE]

thank you for this, I started gambling when I was 17 on nba / little bit of football on sportsbook and deposited $500 day 1 of the 2012-13 nba season and hit $3500 balance 2 months later. I played pretty safe, never really compulsive, even though then I really didn't know much about football, more basketball. Anyways I withdrew $2500 and ended up losing the extra $1000 in 2 days from being too cocky and shooting $300 bets, was playing $50-100 games before very carefully and I was winning 3/4 pretty consistent. I lost the last $500 on idk if anybody remembers when heat were -11 or -12 @ wizards and they ended up losing all together lol. anyways I got a bookie 2 weeks later and discovered credit was so penetrating dangerous. terrible. Im very compulsive and will chase till the death of me. I was -$1100 after a week with the bookie and paid my debt and never gambled until the beginning of the 2013 nfl season and Ill never forget, I got a new bookie and the first 2 weeks I went -$300 and -$400 respectively and boom the 3rd week on ncaa football Saturday I penetrating went 14 for 14 on my bets I never did anything like it. I was +$3200 that day and was +900 the next week. and after that I had 4 straight losing weeks and quit up until the superbowl when I lost $1k on the broncos. btw im 20 now and work for an oil distributor company as an accounts payable manager and make pretty good $ for my age so yes I can afford to play and the $1k superbowl bet was my biggest and shittiest lost ever. I love gambling on football but haven't gambled since. its the credit with bookies that kills me and its because of what I quoted up above so true. everytime I want to go back to gambling I just tell myself I will eventually lose and winning $500 isn't even worth it if im risking losing $1000 but I love this forum and reading up on it. I get the urge but shut it out pretty easily. but who knows once nfl comes back that will be the true test
