Oakland A's- Best Bullpen in the Majors?
    These guys are studs.

    Otero
    Doolittle
    Gregorson
    Abad
    Johnson

Is there a better bullpen in the Major Leagues?

The Giants ...... , but im loving seeing the A's steam rolling the AL WEST, it does well for the city and the bay area when both teams make the playoffs.

        was this a jinx thread?

all kidding aside, OAK is a team I'd bet full game ML, they are managed well and they can protect the lead with a well rested bullpen. This white sox team can seriously hit late innings (lead the league in runs innings 7 or later, by a long shot)

bunch of assholes keep doing that though and it's starting to piss me off. I actually thought they were going to come back and get a win in last inning, in a single inning. But no, they fuk with you. They get a +1.5 cover magically but I had them moneyline lol. Why can't they just all say in a random inning other than the end of the game, hey, let's show up and tie the game here. No, never. I don't know when to play them anymore, I was on a white sox chase but now I'm fed up

haha yeah i do think the A's have a great bullpen and i do like the A's chances at winning the world series this year.

But yeah i had White Sox +1.5 in a parlay... it was a 6 teamer with white sox +1.5, Dodgers ml, Ducks ml, blazers +4.5, mariners ml, and braves ml....

i guess i under estimated Tim Lincecum... i figured the Braves would tee off on him.

maybe he is getting back to his ole cy young form...

Oakland best team in majors or at least top 3.

              High payrolls mean nothing anymore

You can win with lower paid players real easy now in MLB

They spent a lot of the bullpen and then they do the lefty righty platoon thing depending on who the other team is throwing... platoon players are cheaper than everyday players...

Norris and Jaso are 2 great platoon players.

                Jed Lowrie was a steal.

They do an excellent job drafting and developing pitchers in their farm system.

Look at all the talented pitchers they have lost over recent years and they just keep rolling out guys who get the job done...

This guy going tonight Pomeranz looks promising too and Chavez, Gray, and Kazmir are doing awesome.
