I disagree. The Heat are not desperate to win tonight.
The Heat know they are the better team and all they have to do
is "Turn it on" and give 100% effort and they would beat anybody.

But what incentive do they have to do that tonight? They know they will take care of business when they go back home to Miami. The Heat like to "Toy" with teams and go half ass for 3 quarters and then try to give "just enough effort" in the 4th quarter...

This is a bad spot for the Heat. This game tonight the Brooklyn Nets know this is their
Super Bowl. This is it. One last hoorah for Garnett and Pierce. One last time to punk Lebron and D-Wade infront of Jay-Z and the NYC faitful. Tonight the Nets know its time to go to war and make Lebron "hit the deck"

But this is the most Marquee matchup on the 2nd round of the playoffs with 2 major markets in New York and Miami.

It is advantageous for the NBA if this series ends up going 6 or 7 games.

If Brooklyn ties it up tonight then all of the sudden everybody in America will be like
" OH Shit!!! The Heat might actually lose this series!

Then ofcourse everyone tunes in to see what happens in game 5 and espn can hype this up and ratings will sky rocket!

Normally I would agree but seeing as how the Sterling thing distracted the first round, the nba needs second round ratings. Okc vs clippers going 7. Nets vs Miami going to be made interesting as well.

I really don't think the Sterling thing distracted that much of the first round. Everyone on the radio and TV stations were also saying how this was the best first round anyone has ever seen. Especially in the west.
