Miami Heat only -1.5 in game 3?

I am sure that Miami was motivated a little bit by the fact that Brooklyn beat them 4 times in the regular season before the series started, but they have to be excused if they get a little bored with slapping around this "little brother" team. Personally I would be surprised if the Nets win a game.

i think so many people are on the heat, and so many on the heat sweep that nets will take this back to miami 2-2

its just never that easy the way the public thinks, its never easy, vegas wants those on miami to be sweating when its 2-2 and asking questions

As I have said several times, I think Nets win one game in Brooklyn, Heat in 5. Now that Nets ML is +odds, I think they are worth a play.

I am reading the logic in this thread correctly? The Heat are going to lose tonight bec they do "not" want to sweep bec they want to sell more tickets for fans, so they will play this game with half effort? That sounds absurd to me. They need to play at home again for tv so Heat will not really try today? I am pretty sure that is what Lebron and co are thinking right now in Brok. They are all joking around, goofing off & not taking this game seriously? Lebron told his team "hey, we gotta sell more home tix, so lets not go too hard today"? Wow, I am pretty sure that if the Spurs or Heat or ANY team that can sweep another team and get huge valuable rest time for the veterans, they will. I could never see Parker or Tim or James just telling everyone to take it light tonight so we can do a game 5 for sure, maybe even a game 6 if we slip up on "accident" one game? Ok, I just don't buy it. But BOL to ev1 on the Nets I guess.. I see the Heat going very strong tonight for a HUGE reason. IF they lose tonight, game 4 is HUGE HUGE bec Nets could act tie the series 2-2. No way in hell the Heat want the Nets to have "any" kind of incentive to flip this series. It makes so much more sense to see the Heat go HUGE tonight with effort, "try" to take the 3-0 lead and THEN maybe play a lax game 4 bec they know they will have 2 games at home AND maybe 1 on the road to close it out.

IF the Heat are going to go max effort in either of these games, in my mind it HAS to be this one. Not game 4 where they could actually go back to Miami 2-2. No way the Heat lay off tonight. I am NOT saying they will win for sure, I just know for damn sure that they are gonna give a huge freaking effort tonight, wouldn't surprise me to see the Heat take this one. I just thought the reasoning on this thread was half backwards. Maybe I make no sense, but it makes perfect sense to me. Heat up 3-0, "maybe" you see a half azz game bec they will have it locked. BUT, to not really try tonight and the Nets could go 1-2 with the next game at home?? THIS is the game the Heat try to go balls to the wall. Just my opinion.. BOL to everyone
