What Texans are Now Asking for Their #1 Overall Pick
First, second, and third-rounder this year plus a first-rounder in 2015.
And they may get it from someone.

Falcons have offered 1st and 2nd this year and 1st 2015 so if no one else matches it or bests it is a done deal.

No it is not, they want the quantity of picks.

Any trade would be situational depending on how far they traded back..

That was the case until yesterday. They eased off a bit last night. I guess they are REALLY not sold on Clowney.

John McClain is the man for all things Texans:
The Houston Chronicle now says the Texans are asking for a first, second, and third-rounder this year plus a first-rounder in 2015 in exchange for Thursday's No. 1 overall pick.
It's actually a little less than previous reports that had the Texans asking for three first-round picks and a second-rounder, and it's further evidence they're not sold on South Carolina DE Jadeveon Clowney. Of course, a lot will depend on exactly where the team wanting to trade up is picking. Either way, the Texans will remain open for business all the way up until 8pm ET Thursday and the asking price could very well drop even further as we get closer. The Falcons and aggressive GM Thomas Dimitroff remain the most likely candidate to move up.

So yeah, it is situational but the asking price regardless of the draft spot is less than it was yesterday.

Just more evidence of how questionable this draft really is. Some think that Clowney is a head case, and others think he is vulnerable to injury. He showed signs of both of these things while at South Carolina. No one can agree on who the best QB is. None of these QB's are very good compared to last year's crop.

you do realize last years QB class sucked so you are a penetrating idiot for saying that. Teddy, Johnny, Blake, Carr > over any who was in last yrs class

This.
Any team dumb enough to trade away that many draft picks for the No. 1 deserves its fate.
