Clippers/Thunder In-Game Thread

This has nothing to do with Westbrook, Perkins, the refs or anyone OTHER than the Clippers playing out of their minds.

There are two silver linings here, as a thunder fan

1.) The Clippers cannot play any better and OKC can't play too much worse.

2.) Even if Lob City wins by 50, it's only one win. Remember, OKC lost the first two at home to the Spurs a few years ago and came back to win four in a row. So the core of this team is experienced.

Those are my only two observations. And this game is fixing to get chippy

The year OKC did that to the Spurs, they had James Harden. I don't think they have that kind of guy to bring off the bench anymore.

That's true and Harden played well against the spurs but RJackson can actually put up Harden like numbers, just not consistently.

I guess the main point was that regardless of the score tonight, it's only one loss at home. They dropped one to the Grizz at home as well. OKC has a lot of playoff experience.

That said, OKC HAS to finish this game strong on the defensive end.

They're going to lose tonight and they know they score at will against the Clippers but they have not proven they can stop them yet.

Agreed. Many adjustments to be made for Game 2 defensively for OKC. Clips are moving the ball really well and making OKC look like a JV squad.

This is my worst bet for a long time, but it will be lesson. After matches with Memphis I promise that I won't bet for OKC anymore, but... Nice win for everyone who take underdogs today, I hope a lot of people do it.

This same Thunder team went 2-2 against these same Clippers in the regular season. The Clippers just whipped OKC's ass tonight. Beat the piss out of them. I have a feeling this series will be 2-2 coming back to OKC for game 5.

This same Clippers team also just struggled to beat the GSW's in a 7 game series. And GS had no defense.

I know, saw some of those losses by Clips to the Thunder and I dont think they will be fine. I see a Clips team with more urgency, usually they arnt as urgent in 1st halves, tonight they were. Im not one to over react but I think some will point back to the incidents that happen, the firing, and say that made this team stronger, Clips will win this series.
