Disagree. Entire Kings team took the 2nd period off besides Quick. Could have been 4-1 Blackhawks going into the 3rd. Quick kept them in it. Fluke 2nd goal when Smith ran out of room, he was looking to pass. Quick's own defenseman screened him on Keith's goal. Kings D was focused on scoring...not sure how you don't shift style with 9:30 to go and the lead. Instead you give up 2 goals. Complete collapse. Kings D could have baseball chopped the Hawks players screening on Kane's GWG, they did nothing. They were outmuscled at the net bad. A far cry from the team that didn't let the Ducks enter their zone for a period with the lead. Kings are beat up and done.

Can't stop what you can't see. The Keith goal looked weak until they showed the glass cam. Quick's guy was right in front of him...puck found empty space. Did you see how hard the Blackhawks defensemen were clearing and boxing out at the end? The Kings defensemen did none of that. Just chased players through the neutral zone.

Sadly agree with most of what you said. So you think the feisty Kings can get back to their style for another Game 7? One thing I've learned about this team is to never count them out...play their best with their backs against wall. Have big future on them and might just go down swinging without hedging.

I don't see it happening, then again, I haven't been able to peg the Kings all playoffs. They have looked disinterested and done before and flipped the switch. I thought their chance was tonight though. Crowd will be electric at the Madhouse and Crawford has played much better at home.
