ive seen this type of thing, i wouldnt call it throwing the game, more like the home team thats out of it really has zero chance and they play without pressure and win.

2002 nba finals pacers-lakers, pacers werent going back to LA and winning, everyone knew that, series was 3-1 lakers, they win game 5 at home 120-87, go back to LA lose game 6
