I'll never forget the brisk autumn evening of late October 1984. It was a saturday if I recall correctly. The Giant and I were enjoying our slurpees over a game of chess on aunt Teresa's porch. We began discussing our predictions for week 7 in the NFL while playing. Upon our completion of the chess match, we decided to record our verbal predictions in writing. We exchanged our predictions and tuned in the following day to see how we did. While I recorded a respectable 6-9 preformance, The Giant went a perfect 15-0. It was mind-blowing.
