    Parlay question...
New to this site and wanted to see if anyone bets on Parlays? I am not a high roller and I try to get in 4 days a week of betting. Thanks

Search for a thread named parlay (I guess) started by Ganchrow to see a discussion about it with a math background.

To summarize: avoid parlays unless you are VERY confident that your bets are +ev.

Well the first reason to avoid them is obviously the books like to keep the advantage on their side, meaning you will not be receiving true odds on your payout of a parlay.

The only time it does make sense is when you can find a solid capper (55% being world class), find a book with the best parlay odds you can and parlay that cappers plays.

Naturally a draw back to this is that the capper is not going to release plays in a convenient 2 game package, nor will his plays follow a predictable 55% rate due to Variance.

But in theory, it is a viable strategy.
