24 yrs old with potentially big power and one of the best defensive outfielders in baseball

if he can get to where he can hit .280 he will be one of the best outfielders in the nl

there are many worse than him as it is

Though he's been a disappointment, he's good enough to play in the big leagues. Have you seen the Padres lineup?

Have you not seen our lineup? .220 on the Braves nowadays (minus Freeman, of course) pretty much makes you Ted Williams. We have great pitching, but basically just pray for homers. No wonder we're a first round exit every damn year.

            hes 24 years old

if he'd have been ripping up the minors the last couple years (which he'd already been doing before that) then he'd be the hottest prospect in baseball

3 years away from entering his prime

his biggest mistake was having a very good rookie year and falling off for a couple years

off to a cold start but pretty pretty good as a leadoff hitter for the first time last year

Forget about Heyward. The Braves are steal "penciling in" Upton and Uggla, who are far more worthless.

Gold glove, hitting over .300 as a lead off hitter in his career, was really coming on when he broke his jaw. His offense is disappointing but he's basically still a kid and has more potential than half the major leaguers in the game today.

JJ my grandma knows more about baseball talent than you. Braves only need to score a few runs and the pitching does the rest.

yea Uggla is WORTHLESS... he would never hit a grand slam to win a game or anything

Another failed thread from the JJ Gold Trainee program. Lou must be the head trainer. C'mon, you guys really need to amp up the Gold handle and quit with the stupid threads. At least stick to hookers and blow for entertainment.
