I found this place http://www.larancheta.com/ that is basically right around the corner from Punta Cana and has sort of 5 bed shared offering that if we fill we can get for $11 per night.

Coach if Bobby ends up going obviously he is in even without asking so we just need to get two more (Shari and Quang maybe?) and we can be balling in Dominican Republic for less than Opie spends on a pedicure.

But in all fairness...anyone who says they don't enjoy a pedicure, has obviously never gotten one.

I wouldn't call this place just around the corner. Looks like you will have to spend all the savings on taxi fares. The taxi fare is $50 from the airport to the hotel and this place looks like is several times further away from the hotel.
