also when i watch games live (except real madrid today was obvious) but i often can't tell you who is going to be a winner. 1 team dominated the first 20 minutes and then the other team takes over sometimes. i lost the schalke game because schalke dominated the start and then played like shit

I truly believe part of what makes you a good capper can't be taught, it's just like an instinct for how things will play out. I think it comes with practice and experience. I am a lot better capper than I was 3 years ago when i started.

Other than that its simply knowing how teams play, how an average game of soccer goes and how the variables both teams present will effect that. Also If in a smaller league i look for games with a spread of 1 or greater I find that with that much of a handicap one way or another its easier to cap. It also indicates a large gap in skill which means the favorite should win in some form. I try to avoid cointoss games or close matches unless its high profile and I can't resist.

I also have an equation for determining which line I will take (1 or 1.5 etc) but that's not really something I want to get into.

Eh sort of, Im a student with my way paid thru school but I pay all my personal expenses/recreation/other addictions with my sportsbook.

Right? As a bayern fan I am a bit disappointed but I thought real madrid would advance just not like this.... absolutely shocking that bayern didn't get on the board in either game. I think they ****** up winning their league too early (if thats such a thing) they peaked at the wrong time it seems. Also very glad I didnt penetrate with the bayern ML this morning like I wanted to.

Yep I see it as a 1-0 as well, wouldn't be surprised if it ended scoreless tho. 1.5 will probably hit but I don't mind the extra cushion of +2 one bit

+2 against an Argentinian team is always a solid pick too. They don't score much in argentine soccer

yeah. and even if it comes to penalties I think Chelsea will win because Mark Schwarzer is known by Australians as a really good penalty saver who has saved numerous penalties for them. he even got close to saving the sunderland penalty

ive also been a bayern game my whole life and yesterdays game was just embarassing, but the writing was kind of on the wall. no backup plans etc, it was scary how many real goal chances they had in both games. i wouldnt be surprised if they lost the dfb pokal final to dortmund too now

But more on topic - I backed Chelsea tomorrow. Yes that's right. I'm sitting here typing this, drinking, wearing my diego forlan atletico madrid jersey and contemplating if I've made a huge mistake. I hate myself right now.

This happens in the champions league every few years - atletico has had it's fairytale run. I think it ends tomorrow. Chelsea is just way too solid, and they really impressed me with their tactical dismantling of a liverpool side that was unbeaten in 2014. In Chelsea's second leg match against PSG, John Terry said that Mourinho had drilled into each player a specific game plan which they would implement depending on every imaginable scenario that could occur in that leg. When you have someone who is that much of a throwback to football's early mastermind coaches, and when you see him patrolling those sidelines in third-world country clothing with that sunken, coked-up expression and that 5-day stubble, it's hard not to admire someone who is so compelled to win; so proud to be the greatest mind in the today's game.

Chelsea to advance tomorrow @ 1.94. If you want value, Chelsea to win to nil @ 3-something.

You SON are mistaken . HUGE! Chelsea will not advance. It's getting boring besides. I saw the match with Liverpool. Dismantling you said, hmmmm. What I saw was pathetic football skills from some Liverpool players such as Allen or Sterling I guess the ones with the decisive turnovers. Plus a a non-combat display from Suarez. I saw first leg match in Madrid and I knew what to expect from the Chelsea when away, but at home ....that goes out of the window...the baby with the tub water as well.

Bad bet IMO but we'll see. I have that game capped as even in a VERY slight favor of Sadnes. Too early in the season to get accurate capping though. Im in class guys but I am on Sparta praha -1.5 and tsv buchbach ML. Wont post values or anything for thread total sake because I think they probably already started. Sorry forgot to post!
