True story, I was in Vegas that first week in April 1990, I just became legal that previous October.

Game was a no doubter, Augmon was a force underneath, after the game, the fukkin student body had an informal, flash parade up and down the LV Blvd. Cloesed the strip down, and the cops rolled with it, the cops were like 'fukk it'

Drinking in the streets, that April Monday night/Tuesday morning 1990, they were partying like it was 1999.

Know this, and know this well, we here in Connecticut take our sports very serious, we get shit on despite the women always go to the finals, the NCAA ice hockey championship was an all Connecticut final last season, won by Yale, our basseball teams always do well in the regionals until we get knocked off by the Arizona's of the world, our little leaguers always go deep in the nationals, our kids almost always represent the east, the Fairfield or Trumbull kids do......

Point is, come Monday night, Tuesday morning, Nasher and the rest of Connecticutters are going to party like it's 1999 too.
