#36All you can ask of a golfer is to be in the mix late on Sunday. If Kuchar finishes 2nd two tournaments in a row - he's playing good golf, probably without distractions, ailments, or hitches in his swing. I always look for good golfers with recent success for a major, I'm on Kuchar.Comment -

#38Getting old. A tricky back limited appearances this year. Not really a value play, but if he's in the final pairings on Sunday he's a) fun to watch and b) won't be getting nervous. The guy knows the deal. I passed.Originally posted by artyfudgepackeris anybody playing the lefty ? phill
Kuchar is now 15/1, (Mickelson & Day also 15/1 ... Scott & Rory 10/1 - these are the 5 favorites) he was 25/1 to win two days ago. I'm getting whatever today's odds are.Comment -

#40Besides Scott/Rory? Maybe Dufner. He sometimes puts up great numbers when everyone struggles. A lot of things have to come together, though - I don't think that's something to bet on.Originally posted by Big Bearanybody capable of winning by 5 or more strokes?Comment -

Maybe square but at these odds I can't pass him. Just hoping for him to have a good Thursday and Friday...if he is in the mix come Sunday I won't complain even if I lose the bet.Comment -

Btw, Jimmy Walker birdied the last 4 holes to finish at -2. That just isn't done. Seriously. We might be looking at the Roy Hobbs of golf.Comment -
