But he wasn't terrible last year. AL East is going to be rough on him I think. Then again AL East kind of looks down.

the only pitcher who had a better ERA post all star break last season was Clayton Kershaw.

Guy is going to implode in Baltimore. He left my Tribe and the pitching coach that turned him around in the second half last year. I'm rolling with the BoSox today.

Not at all, my man....In spite of his stellar 2nd half last year, I never trusted him. Watch and see...The O's will regret this signing.

his stuff is amazing.
however i don't really trust "him" that much but i do think the Orioles can get to Lackey today.
The thing about Ubaldo is his mechanics are so herky jerky the opposite of smoothe. With so many moving parts Its very easy for his mechanics to lead to command trouble...
I'm not sure why his mechanics are like that. I would think somebody would have him tone that down a lil bit to make it easier for him to repeat his delivery. But he does have tremondous talent.

Keep in mind he is also moving from a weaker Central Division to the AL East. The AL East might not be the offensive juggernaut it once was but it is still full of hitter friendly parks that he will get a lot of starts in (Camden Yards, Fenway Yankee Stadium, Rogers Center). There is a reason he was a later signing.
