When the Mets look too good to be true - rethink. Here is one team you can follow jj's advice for - wait until July before you get a read on the mets. Once plenty of season has gone by feel free to ride a promising Mets starter, even when up against an ace. Harvey delivered last year and Dickey was a gold mine the year before that - every week ESPN's talking heads were warning that the knuckleballer was due to come down to earth - never did and that godawful team staked him 20 wins and a Cy Young - most the time he was +ev.

Conversely, the Mets would blow every Johan Santana start humanly possible. Just watch the team, the patterns always present themselves. And they won't be near post-season contention, that's a given.

As a Braves fan I won't say this often....but damn that was a hard way to lose for the Mets. Never trail until extras and then give up a bomb to add to the misery after walking in the tying run earlier.
