                Always nice to get a couple of defacto home games on the way too. Be interesting to see how they do post-Shabazz. Let's be honest as solid as Ollie has done with this team, they'd be a CBI or CIT team without Shabazz. Dude definitely has his Kemba Walker cape on.

                    Ollie has his team playing tougher than their opponents. Makes up for any lack of coaching/recruiting deficiencies, if he does indeed have any.

                      Kevin Ollie is good coach and recruiter...He learned from the one of the best ever in the business in Jim Calhoun....and Calhoun didn't exactly leave the cupboard bare when he retired...

                        Ollie has done a very nice job, but there is a long way to go before he can be called the best coach.

                        let's see in 5 years where they are at

                              Let's see how he does the next few years. Still don't think he's a great coach but I'm a hater so I may be blinded.

                                  KO has some players already coming in pre tourney run, but now.. sky is the limit. Locked up two 5 star recruits in Danny Hamilton who is number 30 on the HS top 50 list. He just carried his team to the California DIV 2 state championship. Also Rodney Purvis, a 5 star PG/SG who transferred out of NC state. They will also be getting Sam Cassell Jr, (yes that Cassell) who is just tearing it up at Juco right now (22+ppg). Also getting a big body in Rakim Lubin who goes 6'8 250. Big boy body. UConn will be loaded with guards again, not on Bazz level, but strong none the less

                                          So who is their backcourt next year?

                                          Why did Purvis transfer? He was getting 25 min as a freshman. NC State bringin in a top recruit at PG?

                                                hes a young black man with NBA experience...

                                                more programs should learn from this...

                                                ofcourse black athletes are not going to respond as well to a short white man who looks like Danny Devito...

                                                its common sense. If you wanna be the part you gotta look the part.

                                                  He's the exception not the majority Big Bear. The reason he is successful is cause just from hearing the guy talk, how he leads his team, how he carries himself, you can tell he was going to be successful some way or another. Few NBA athletes can say the same thing.

                                                          good stuff right here

                                                          ollie = winner

                                                          "Kevin Ollie, he was a game-changer for us," Durant told Grantland's Bill Simmons during All-Star weekend. "He changed the whole culture, I think. He might not say it, but I think he changed the whole culture in Oklahoma City."
                                                          Current coach of the Connecticut Huskies—and, as of Monday night, a national champion—Kevin Ollie played 25 games of his 13-year NBA career with the Oklahoma City Thunder.
