Baseball seems to be way to random of game to make money on gambling. Its not like basketball or football where you can get on either side and make money. With baseball, you pretty much have to be right on who wins the game. I suppose you could ride some hot pitchers (sort of like in hockey where people ride hot goalies) - but even then the randomness of it all would kill it for me. I'm actually getting bummed out bc without college football or college basketball, there's nothing worth betting on for 5 months.

There's a reason why books will take larger bets on CFB and NFL and it is not because of the volume. The spread is the great equalizer and you're being dealt -110 either way. Much easier to win betting MLB and NHL imho, especially mlb.
