Sure.That is exactly what these pro leagues are all about...less games.

Since I have been around, all they have done is add teams, games and playoff spots.$ rules.

Simply way too many regular season games.

I don't like their style of play.

I don't like the fact that they keep winning games they shouldn't with fluky comeback after fluky comeback. It gets annoying.

I personally don't think the NBA product is shit at all, I think it's the best sport there is.

This system would be good because it would make the regular season a little more important. The best overall would get to play the worst team that qualified.
NBA is so horrible to watch during the regular season. None of these monkeys play hard every night. They have to find a way to make these guys play. 100's of millions isn't enough.

This will never happen, because it eliminates divisions and East/West conferences, but would probably boost regular season ratings a tad in the long run.
