What I don't get, is how is it that 2 teams are ready to start the season, but the other 28 teams aren't? Is it just weather - that they have to get the Aussie games in before the snow flies down there and that they have to wait for the snow to melt up north - Or is it because the teams need time to recover from the travel, if that is the reason and the money is inconsequential (attendance was less than 40,000) - then any middle school boy with a mitt on his handlebars could've told mlb they are a bunch of monkeys. if they went to australia, that probably means there is a market for it there, the official attendance was 38,266 so it was probably over 40,000 in the stands, considering that many games in the states play in front of empty stands, thats probably a victory


also, marketing is not only about gaining market share, but also creating a market were there is none
