You are a day late and a dollar short, Chi-Archie....I mentioned this very fact ( I said watch out for the ACC in this tournament) on the NC ST/Xavier thread!...

I know we aren't supposed to use the transitive property when handicapping, but the Big East was obviously very weak and depleted this year which is the reason why Creighton and Villanova ran roughshod over everybody else...Xavier gets their ass kicked by NC ST, and ST. John's gets run out of the garden by Robert Morris in the NIT!...G-town got an impressive win over West Virginia but like I mentioned in the other thread, WV is absolute dog shit on the road so no surprise there...I don't understand how anybody could have put their hard earned money on Xavier...Especially sharps and SBR members that should have known better....Conversely, The ACC was just as strong as anyone else in the country considering teams like Syracuse, Pitt, UNC, Duke, and Virginia...hell, I bet even Maryland and Clemson could beat half the field in the tournament...Just some food for thought when filling out your brackets and/or wagering on these games....

I was running numbers 2 weeks ago, and the ACC was surprisingly strong. A lot stronger than almost everyone gives them credit for.

That was player ratings, so there is some wiggle room there. Still, I was surprised by the findings.

            ACC is legit.

UNC is the weakest of the ones that are dancing. I have them losing to Providence in my bracket.

Pitt could give Florida a game, when clicking, they are a top 15 team in the nation.

Duke is hit and miss for me. When they are hitting their 3's, they are as good as anyone. My main problem with them is they have no size. Their only player who plays big is Plumlee, but guy looks like a chicken with his head cut off on offense.

Virginia is awesome, but unfortunately they will draw Sparty in the sweet 16.

Everyone got down on Cuse, but ppl don't realize that Jerami Grant is the x-factor on that team. With Grant, they are a final four contender.

Florida better be nervous. Trash hole SEC, finally get to see them play someone decent.

Cuse could very easily be the most slept on team in the tourney. I think they've got as good a shot as anyone to win it all!
