Highest I've ever seen was around -520 It was when the Red Wings were loaded.... and they were facing the worst team in the NHL. And they only won by one goal I think.

Sharks closed -650 earlier this year vs Buffalo at few Vegas books this year...

Im going to backtest this for this season. Haven't looked yet but I'm going to see what the return has been on +300 or more NHL dogs (Pinnacle closing line)

Wow what a waste of time. Only 2 games have been over +300 this season. Both times the dog won, both times SJ Sharks were the losers. Return was ~ +680

In fact the 3 highest MLs this season involved SJ and they lost all 3

Any chance the Panthers were the dog in many -250 or bigger upsets?

I was on the Sharks puckline for the record but some of the biggest letdown I ve seen is teams going an east or western swing for a few games and 1st game back is typically a snoozer, throw in the fact your coming home playing a crappy team with important injuries everybody thought it was a cakewalk. Granted SJ outshot them bad but it happens sometimes when a team is badly outshot and the goalie steals the game
