I quit OxyContin 8 years ago. Had to go to detox and everything. Didn't sleep more than 20 minutes a night for 2 weeks. Went to 270 meetings in 90 days. Stayed clean and I'm still clean to this day. Went to detox down $20k. Now I own two homes and two cars in nyc. I have a successful business and I am driven to do more and more. Mitchy if u give it a real go u will see ur life turn around 180 degrees brother. GL and inbox me if u need someone at anytime. Stay strong paly!!

Thanks bro. I had my bout with oxys after football a long time ago went to prison because of it. Booze is tough because of the socially acceptable. I'm strong right now though. Thanks for support

Hope you are joking. He normally smokes anyway . His smoking increase is because if his withdrawal, it's temporary but brutal. He should smoke as much as he has to if it keeps him from smoking

I would hoping support group as well and I donut many would make fun. Most would be positive

Me? I'm not addicted to one thing in particular but usually got something going on.....Either gambling, weed, booze, or painkillers sometimes. Never get addicted to anything in particular but it's tough to just chill and do nothing a few nights in a row
Eat pretty healthy, play basketball and lift most nights so atleast I got that going for me

Stick with the booze on the weekends because I work early

MLD I really wish I could control myself like that. I don't smoke weed cause I don't like feeling( I do grow because it is legal in mass and I like gardening. yea im soft) Love to gamble of course. Painkillers I cant do because I know how much I love the feeling. Running is my new addiction and I will always bet because it so exciting. Im not going to throw my life away and bet every nickel I have but it is fun
