Cent sports may be a fraud.

I have played with them but didnt find it worth my time due to the cashout mess they have. On the other hand, sportstrio.com paid me by money order within a week. I currently use BetAgainstMe.com as a fun out. I would rather use these type of sites when I want to take a shot than deal with a racket like CW. Finally, I agree with you it is poorly ran atleast, at worst it is a scam.

Anyone out there actually cash out at cent sports? What was the amount and what was your score?

Why not have SBR create a site similar to cent sports? While SBR contests does a great job with the current contest lineup, an SBR ad based sportsbook site where you try to take $0.10 and see how much you can generate based on a book like site would be fun.

If SBR ran it, it would be done right. Have the sportsbooks be a sponsor and shuffle the winnings to a book (at 5x rollover as usual....) The legalites of the site would be clear because individuals are not depositing funds. Use the SBR points as a "buy-in" If you sign-up for a book (or deposit money in a book), you get a $0.10 buy in to the SBR sportsbook site and have to cash out to the book you deposited into or signed up for.

i use cent sports occassionally for fun, especially when im coming off a losing streak and trying to stay off tilt. never cashed out though, the most ive ever gotten the account up to was $4. I dont see how it can be a scam or fraud if its free though

If you take the effort to generate over $20 in winnings, try and cash out.....it is a bit frustrating.

While it is not a "fraud" in the sence that you lost someting, it is a scam in the sence that a cashout is promised, and never actually produced.

Actually, the site gets more and more addictive as you get past the $20 threshold. I guess it is too much to ask that the site actually pay out.

Fair enough. What happens to your $ if you try to cash out and dont make the "cut?" Do they just start you back at zero? If not, did you keep trying?

Once you get past $20, you go to the cashout page. There you submit a cashout request and a cashout "score" is generated based on you "RELATIVE" winning percentage, amount bet, amount won..... The key word is "RELATIVE" because your score is based on how you compare to others in your cashout category ($20-$30,$30-$50....)

My average winning percentage was abour 56%, at around $1.75 per bet and $48.00 in my account with a request for $25..... and generated a score of 43. You can submit any number of requests once you are past $20, and a new score is generated with each request.

I had submitted numerous requests once I was past $30, but have always been below the cashout rankings...After resubmittng a number of times, I just got frustrated.

I get the feeling they really have no intention of cashing out the majority of requests due to lack of funds. Take a look at the cashout section and you will see there are quite a number of people who have won over $50 there....

I started this thread to see if anyone here actually cased out from cent sports or know of similar sites out there....

It is hard to cash out because a lot of people are trying to.

Yup definitely cashed out immediately when I first got over $20. I don't remember if I was successful the first time due to the lottery system they have set up, but I cashed out and cashed my check. I don't see how you not cashing out the one time you try makes it a ripoff, but it sure worked for me. Free case of beer!

i remember sitting in class checking the scores and this guy tries to get my email and refer me to cent sports. he mentions something about getting a couple of pennies for every refferal. i told him to quit being a scrub and deposit some cash into 5dimes. thought that shit was a joke when he told me he was wagering with ****in 10 cents

It's an ad based website. They don't have a set amount of money sitting to cash people out. They don't even win off your losses. It all is a system. Those making more bets and risking more money will be cashed out first. It's the only way for them to operate.
