#2For a 6th round pick, why not?Originally posted by Dark HorseIf with religion you mean belief system, your belief system is your religion. Again, it matters not what it is. You believe in it, you are loyal to it, would defend it, and yet have no proof of it, other than that, at one point or another, you chose to believe in it. Self-hypnosis. 49ers QB Colin Kaepernick is scheduled to make $1.1 million in 2014.
His new backup, Blaine Gabbert, is scheduled to make $2.01 million.Comment

#5More than likely he doesn't pan out, but I dont think it's any more likely a random 6th round QB does. Gabbert was forced to start on a terrible team, rarely a recipe for success. If he'd been given time to develop who knows. Maybe the Niners can reset the clock and he can be serviceable with a decent squad around him.Originally posted by d2betsBecause Gabbert is horrible. #12I tend to agree with this. Gabbert was thrown into the fire and expected to buoy a pitiful team. Few guys would thrive under those circumstances. Give him a change of scenery and who knows? 6th round picks are a crapshoot anyways. Matt Cassel looked pretty good in a Pats uniform under coach Belichick, not so much as a Chief/Viking.Originally posted by DrStaleMore than likely he doesn't pan out, but I dont think it's any more likely a random 6th round QB does.
