(Serious) What do you guys do while your bets are pending?

never scoreboard watch. I don't watch a minute of 90% of the games I bet not counting NFL. When its a multiple unit play I usually won't even check the score until I am certain the game has ended.

because its so readily available the score... like on my smartphone... how the fuk do u resist the urge... and even knowing the game is live on the back of my head gives me so much fukkin pressure... im trying to thinking of this as an investment instead of gambling but its taking a toll on my tummy

At times I might fall asleep late and see scores in AM but most of time monitor everything as that is half the fun

only a small number of games on the season and with multiple games on I live for Sundays during football season. I don't watch the games cuz I have action on it I watch the games cuz I love the NFL in general. Soccer is probably the sport I watch the most and very rarely will have action on a game I watch unless I have a good angle on it to bet.

if you stress out your games you are obviously betting too much

put aside some money you can afford as your bankroll, bet only 1-2% of your roll per game

dont include any gambling winnings on your monthly budget, if you are counting on gambling winnings to make ends meet you have already lost, stress is gonna eat at you and make you take desperate bets. just like with any investment, you dont put your money in and take it out again on a weekly basis, you let the investment mature over time

Betting is a disease... U get hooked.. When u place a bet every minute feels like a eternity.. U can't wait for it to end. I usually try to socialize to get my mind off it.. But like anything u have that thought lingering in the back of your head telling you to check the score.. And finally when u see ur down.. Ur heart feels like it stops.. Palms get sweaty and ur mind gets clouded.. Then the chasing begins.. And what else can I say.. The rest is history..no one has proper management.. Anyone that tells u that is a liar.. Cause at some point u know they have lost big themselves they just don't want to come clean.. At the very end we look for it not to win.. But for the rush...

I usually bet the minimum on the other team for psychological comfort and confidence that I can say I had money on the winning team. It actually works to boost confidence

Watch the game.

And if I'm not at home either check scores every 5 seconds or force myself not to check scores to watch the game on replay.

I don't think I've just looked at the result of an NBA game after it's over without doing any prior checking in ages. I hate having the result just thrown at my face. I need a little build up.

Some of these guys make it sound so easy but their on sbr 20 hours a day so I don't know how much you can believe them. I'm been betting for awhile. I scoreboard watch but that's because I like the action and adrenaline of it. Best bet if you want to sleep early just bet the 7pm games or bet small enough money that you don't care of the outcome. I don't do either lol.

i got the MLB package so that i can watch every single game i bet on.

i have 2 tvs in my living room so i can watch 2 games at once and if its a parlay i do the
split screen thing where you can watch like 6 games at once.

I try to watch the games, like a few people mentioned before me ITT, I bet for action if I don't watch there is no action. Sometimes I really like a game and bet it even if I am unable to watch it. However If I am home and two random teams like Mt st. Mary's and Robert Morris are playing I may look at the game find a side I can bet and then I will watch it. If I am not betting that game there is zero chance I am watching it.

The only reasons you would stress something you can no longer affect is because you were not thorough in your approach or are overextended.

Using sound and proven methodology coupled with good money management eliminates the stress 100%.

The only thing certain win or lose is that they all gonna play again tomorrow. The quicker you get the jump on that and the less time you waste worrying about shit out of your control, the better off you will be.

Once you hit submit the shit is ancient history. 2.5 to 4% of your roll shouldn't keep you up at night.
