Most do not even know much about sports as they just throw darts and no basis for picks
Most are not educated and of course broke

SCUM

Stock /Financial Touts

Many use sophisticated analysis to release stocks
Most are very educated and experts in their fields
Most do trade their own money
Many are not broke
Many do not scam
most are not sales guys pressuring you

Of course many lose but you get a much better bang for your buck

Umm JJ... stock touting is about 99% sales.

Same thing as sports touts really. The guy on the phone has no real clue, he's just a versed salesman selling some stock the Chinamen in back on the computer told him to sell.

I actually started gambling after financial juices totally ripped me off. Being right even 60% is not enough.
Fundamental and even technical analysis works much better with sports than any financial instruments.

As of touts, 99.9% of them are scam, in both worlds. Only in some exceptional cases they will share their trades.

If I have the free time, I always see how long they can go. Usually I get hung up on around 10-15 minute mark.

He started from $250 down to $50. Guy was desperate. Almost felt bad for the guy. But then around the 20 minute mark he got real aggressive. Basically chewing me out for dragging him along and what not. Then I told him just to bet this so called "lock", with his own $$, for $50 more and he'd have my $50.
That's when he hung up.
