Been hearing the trade rumors about Brodeur for weeks now and I thought he would retire as a Devil and even in the offseason I had no doubt he would stay in Jersey and the idea of him leaving never even crossed my mind. Brodeur has taken great pleasure playing entire career with 1 team and it has been a great pleasure watching perhaps the greatest goalie to ever play the game. And now with the deadline almost here and the Wild continuously have been mentioned as a team in need of a goalie with them having a chance to contend in the West while Devils might miss the playoffs. And tonight's game felt as it could be his last start in a Devils jersey. Would really hate to see him wearing another uniform and hope they don't trade him.
